Today was the last day of school! One of the best things about the end of a trimester is when the kids bring home their writing folders. Here are a few of my favorite's from Julian's folder.
*Julian's cursive practice. They don't learn cursive in 1st grade and he was impatient, so he created his own version*

"Over brak I had two cresmesess. I got mor toys then evrr. I got a wii game too! I got so much toys my room is a mess. I got a Yoshi bak pak. It can onle hold one toy. I got a postre too."

big smiles for how fantastic this is!!! my kindergartener also likes tortolline, like to pant, and tries to write cursive. she makes loops and squiggles then demands i tell her what word it looks like. so far, she has mastered "celery." and she was also almost named "julian." but for a girl. i think our offspring should marry.
